Read us the Riot act
The Riot Act refers to a code of law. For those who do not follow it, I, a high authority, must read to them:
THE RIOT ACT
Actually, this is just a nickname my english teacher gave me.
I don't watch people who don't watch me back. So if you just so happen to look at my page by some "God bestowed" miracle, or you just get the revelation: "whoa! I totally wanna check dis guiz page cos hez n awsuhm d00d, srsly!".... and you don't watch me back, prepare to get UN-watched.
Lol. The revelation part was just for fun

(lol cats ftw)

I have to say that this is the best art community out there. It may be small and not very popular, but with the main page layout, everyone's art can be seen. Most of the other sites (like deviantart), focus more on what's popular than what is new, and the majority of the users aren't entirely interactive.
There will be the artists who are very popular who won't talk to you and/or look at your gallery, and the users that aren't necessarily artists, who usually just slobber all over the popular artwork with favs instead of actually browsing for new artwork. These users could also be the reason for some of the popular artist's lack of activity.
Sheezyart is a very good community, format-wise and community-wise. It may not look as kept as the other, more popular sites, but at least it focuses more on whats new. This helps the users to be more interactive with others, and have a chance to get noticed.
Anyways, that was my rant/motivational inspiration thingy or whatever. I am a member of three other sites:
- Deviantart= I never post anything there (redustheriotact)
- Redbubble= where I sell my artwork. Unfortunately nobody has bought anything; The site is pretty much focused on photography more than anything else (redustheriotact)
-CGHub= (redustheriotact)
And if you have iPods or iPhones:
-Groupies
-TextPlus
